With more than 30 years of major program delivery experience for major software houses and for private companies in CIO or CTO roles, Michael is considered an expert in the use of Technology in the Enterprise. His experience spans organizations in both the US and Europe; in private industry and in government; from start-ups to multibillion-dollar multi-nationals and in diverse industries.

Currently a Management Consultant with AlixPartners, he has previously held CIO and/or CTO roles at several major companies,  run large system deliveries for IT services organizations and been a Program Manager for the world's largest software house.  He has spoken on the topic of advanced software development techniques  at events across the world.

He holds a B.Sc in Computer Science from the University of Hull, UK; an MBA from the Cox School of Business at SMU in Texas and is currently engaged in Advanced Machine Learning research at UT Austin.
